Chinese-Owned Ship’s Broken Anchor Found Near Damaged Baltic Pipeline, Finland Smells Sabotage

Damage to a Baltic Sea gas pipeline earlier this month is believed to have been caused by a ship dragging a large anchor along the seabed. However, it was too early to tell if this was an accident or a deliberate act, the Finnish police said on October 24. Finnish investigators have found a large ship’s anchor near the spot where a Baltic Sea gas pipeline was extensively damaged on October 8. They are seeking to establish whether the anchor came from a Chinese container vessel, The Guardian reported. Meanwhile, China has called for fair & professional probe into pipeline damage. #finland #china #balticgaspipeline 00:00 – INTRODUCTION 01:28 - CHINA CALLS FOR “FAIR & PROFESSIONAL” PROBE INTO PIPELINE DAMAGE 04:55 - ANOTHER TELECOM CABLE “PURPOSELY” DAMAGED IN THE BALTIC n18oc_world n18oc_crux CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
