A Kirtas APT 1200 Book Scanner digitizing a book

The Kirtas APT 1200 in action. This one uses a single 16 megapixel camera and a mirror that flips back and forth to image both sides of the book. The film shows it digitizing a reproduction of an out of print book from the 1870s. The reproduction was created from digitial images generated by the machine.
