Re-amping guitar sounds through a protoboard distortion, built by René himself! Re-amping is a process often used in multitrack recording in which a recorded signal is routed back out of the editing environment and run through external processing using effects units (in this case René’s distortion) and then into a guitar amplifier and a guitar speaker cabinet or a reverb chamber. In this snippet producer Attie Bauw is suggesting to re-amp the broken cymbals ‘funkit’ from our previous snippet as well. Basically you can re-amp every sound, not only guitars.
