One person seriously injured in terrifying fire near Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC

One person was seriously injured in a terrifying blaze near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. Thursday morning, officials said. Bright orange flames engulfed a concession kiosk northwest of the memorial sometime after sunrise, images shared on X indicated. The one alarm fire resulted in one victim who was airlifted with “serious non life threatening injuries,” DC Fire and EMS confirmed.
