This is a song I’ve wanted to cover for a long time. I still remember hearing it when the music video had just been released and being completely mesmerized by the melodies, riffs, lyrics, the imagery, and of course Criss Oliva’s incredible guitar playing. It was like nothing I’d ever heard before - even though many elements were very familiar, and that’s something I’ve always considered to be the genius of it. Written and composed by Criss Oliva, Jon Oliva and Paul O’Neill. Although Criss and Paul are no longer with us physically, their art, legacy, and inspiration remain indelible.
