Serving as the fourth installment of the Mad Max movie franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road made waves with its slam-bang action scenes and white-knuckling post-apocalyptic drama. By winning over both viewers and critics, the movie breathed new life into the franchise, proving the scalability of its ideas and themes. Owing to this, even though it incurred losses after its release, it garnered enough popularity to grow into other storytelling avenues.
