Eagles “Take It Easy“ - 1972 demo

This recording was made in late 1971 in an eight-track studio while the newly-formed Eagles (briefly calling themselves “Teen King and The Emergencies“) were getting their first exposure as a band in Aspen, Colorado. Randall Herman Meisner, born 03/08/1946 in Scottsbluff, NE, Bernard Matthew Leadon III, born 07/19/1947 in Minneapolis, MN, Glenn Lewis Frey (birth name Glenn Lewis Cedar), born 11/06/1948 in Detroit, MI and Donald Hugh Henley, born 07/22/1947 in Gilmer, TX had been signed by David Geffen to Asylum Records, but had yet to meet the iconic British producer who would turn them to gold, Glyn Johns. The original recording has been remastered, restored and corrected for pitch.
