2021 : a quick glimpse - Rukmini Vijayakumar

Links to classes/ videos/ etc Some moments from work I’ve done in the past year - in a quick 60 seconds! I haven’t included everything…. 😊 but here’s a quick recap…. I directed a number of dance films commissioned by various organisations for different festivals. Nādi, Mallari, Expectations, Time, Srishti, Unspoken, were among many others…. I had the privilege of being able to dance to the music of some wonderful artists that inspired me and these videos made it into Raadha Kalpa’s YouTube channel. I worked a lot online- teaching workshops, participating in talks and creating recorded educational content that would be helpful to my students in the time of covid . I also started a series of talks on YouTube that address various aspects of dance - theory to training and philosophy. I wrote a book, titled ‘Finding Shiva’, about the performative experience and worked with my friends @anupjkat and @vivianambros
