Last month we arrived in Trieste, we stepped in that abandoned building, with it’s old walls and leaky roof. We went through the sea of tents and introduced ourselves, and from the first hello, we knew something special was unfolding. We knew that it was more than just an exploration, it was the beginning of genuine friendships. Each day brought new stories, new faces, and a sense of community that warmed our hearts. The bonds forged in this very short time, felt like they’d been years in the making. With each passing day, the bonds grew stronger. Shared meals, heartfelt conversations, and countless moments of laughter that transcend all boundaries. The building that once seemed so cold and silent now feels like home, thanks to the warmth of the people inside. Then came New Year’s Eve, a day that definitely wasn’t just another day on the field. We decided to mark the end of the year with a special gathering, we saw it as a chance to celebrate our newfound friendships and the prom
