Mortar crews of the West group of troops destroyed concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment Military personnel of the reconnaissance unit of the West group of troops uncovered camouflaged positions and rotation of units of the Ukrainian Forces in the Kupyansk direction of a special military operation. As a means of destroying and suppressing enemy strongholds, manpower and fire weapons, the military personnel used the 82-mm Tray mortar. Having received the coordinates of the targets, the mortar crew had a few minutes to occupy a firing position, calculate the initial data for firing and fire the first shot. Fire adjustments and objective control of fire damage were carried out by operators of the group’s unmanned aerial vehicles. Regardless of the time of day and weather conditions, mortar crews conduct continuous fire at identified enemy targets.
