Three nights, 66 hours! Chicago – Texas – Los Angeles

Amtrak’s TEXAS EAGLE will test your endurance. It’s Amtrak’s longest train trip over four days, three nights, and seven states! In this video, you’ll see the highlights of this 2,728 mile (4,390 km) journey from Chicago to Los Angeles through Texas. On Day One, we’ll stop in St. Louis, Missouri. On Day two and three, in Texas, we’ll check out Texarkana, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and El Paso in Texas. We’ll see the hidden corners of New Mexico and highlights of Arizona before slipping into Los Angeles, California on the fourth and final day!
