Item title reads - Amateur riders’ Grand National. Mr P. Dennis on “Ardvasar“ wins National Hunt Steeplechase coveted prize at “Chasing’s Ascot“. Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. L/S as horses are led around the enclosure, L/S as they are led along in a line. L/S as the horses approach a fence and jump over it, one falls and another refuses and rides the other way. Various shots as the race continues and they take the various jumps along the route. M/S from the side of the horses racing along. Various shots as they jump other fences. M/S from the side as they race along again. L/S as two jump over a fence, one falls badly and does not get up again, the jockey looks uninjured. L/S as Ardvasar races past the finish line.
