It is a story of dream-chasing in the new era when Tibetan compatriots leave their hometown on the Tibetan Plateau and come to the first-tier cities in China to struggle and realize the value of their lives. The work uses documentary filming techniques to tell the true story of each individual: Zhumu, who has taught Tibetan language for 17 years in Beijing’s hutongs; Zhaxi, a college graduate who has studied in Shanghai for 10 years and loves hip-hop music; Zhoma, a lawyer who has realized the value of her life in a big law firm in Beijing; and Duojie and Ram, who have known each other, known each other and fallen in love and stayed together in Shanghai. The story of Tibetan compatriots who left their hometown on the Tibetan Plateau and came to first-tier cities to work and struggle for their dreams, to show the Tibetan youth’s adherence to the traditional culture of the nation, their desire and perseverance in realizing their dreams, and to show the pluralism and tolerance of the Chinese culture, and the indissoluble and deep friendship among people and various ethnic groups.
