Paul McCartney & Wings - Hi, Hi, Hi (Live from the “James Paul McCartney“ UK TV Special, 1973)

Source merge and restoration using the US edit (for intro and outro shots), a german master uploaded by ReelinInTheYears on YouTube and an Italian broadcast (stored on VHS). In early 1973 Paul had a legal dispute with Sir Lew Grade and ATV music publishers. The primary outcome of this dispute was for Paul to film a TV special for ATV. So in February thru to April Paul and Wings filmed the “James Paul McCartney“ TV special in and around London, Liverpool, and at the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. The US & UK broadcasts have some differences with the main one being that in the concert segment “Long Tall Sally“ is performed instead of “Hi, Hi, Hi“.
