Gruppen har kallats en av de snabbast växande svenska rockgrupperna i modern tid. För närvarande turnerar bandet i Europa, där man har sålt ut konserter i bland annat Amsterdam, Berlin, London och Paris. Bandet har sedan tidigare flertalet avverkade arenaturnéer i både Europa och USA. Framöver kommer man att ge ut en bok och ett nytt album. Debuten i Melodifestivalen 2023 gav en tredjeplats i finalen, vilket gör Smash Into Pieces till tävlingens bäst placerade band inom metal/hårdrock någonsin och det högst placerade rockbidraget sedan YOHIO år 2013. Uppföljaren ”Heroes Are Calling” handlar om att finna sin inre superhjälte. Den maskerade trumslagaren APOC beskrivs som bandets ledare och maskot, och med honom som frontfigur vill Smash Into Pieces med sin musik väcka liv i den inre kraft som finns hos varje människa. Smash Into Pieces bildades 2008, fick skivkontrakt 2013 och slog igenom brett 2017 med sitt tredje album Rise and Shine, där The Apocalypse DJ infördes. Det var till detta album som man etablerade sin nuvarande musikstil, där man blandar rock, electro och pop och benämner resultatet electrorock. I den tidigare utgivningen har bandets kronologiska musikvideoserie uppmärksammats, där varje låt på gruppens två konceptalbum Arcadia (2020) och A New Horizon (2021) är sammanlänkade i en serie episoder som handlar om den parallella verkligheten Arcadia.
