Mouse plague runs rampant in eastern Australia

Many parts of rural eastern Australia are being overrun by mice as farmers and rural communities struggle to combat an escalating plague. The increase in the pest’s population, brought about by the end of the drought, is decimating crops, destroying stored hay and invading silos, sheds and homes.
