“CELEBRATE FENERBAHCE 1907“ Original hand-painted brush-work by Hollywood Painter Metin Bereketli Fenerbahçe is a professional sports club based in the district of Fenerbahçe,city of Istanbul. The name of the sports club derives from a famous lighthouse located within the area (’Fener’ means lighthouse, ’bahçe’ means garden). The most popular branch of the club is football. They are nicknamed The Yellow Canaries (Sarý Kanaryalar). The club also competes in basketball, volleyball, rowing, boxing, sailing, athletics, swimming and table tennis.
