Experience Wall Street Stock Trading In The 1980s

This short clip presents some Betacam SP content I recorded back in the 1980s that seemed a bit nutty when I filmed it. I didn’t understand what was going on and it was gobbledygook to me. Look at today, it still is very confusing and I suspect that some of my subscribers will see this as essentially unchanged from what it was back then and others will see what computers and digitization etc. have done to radically alter Wall Street stock trading. One thing I know is this. From time to time when I have had extra money, I have invested in the stock market and every time, without exception, at the end of the day, I lost the money. If I had invested in my own filmmaking or in any of my hobbies such as collecting photographs, I would have done so much better. It seems to me, my own personal experience, that the only people that end up profiting by stock and bond trading are the traders and the companies they work for. And it is amazing how many people are drawn to this video from Gamestop or #wwallstreetbets.
