Back then Albert Camus’ philosophy of absurdism fascinated me like nothing else, and it was his essay “The Myth of Sisyphus” which inspired this track. I don’t consider myself to be a particularly deep or spiritual person, but at that time of great changes in my life most things that happened to me felt absurd. I was facing a new life with a new meaning, and was forced to carry the reality of it all. Now some time has passed, and I don’t have to carry time as much, because, most days, it carries me.
