Video van АWENDANCE - коллектив ирл. танца ДК Куйбышева

This video teaches Irish dance beginners how to dance their skip-2-3’s (hop-2-3’s) and allows you practice along with me. You can keep re-watching and practicing with the speed you like over and over. And as you improve, you can practice along with me using the faster and faster speeds! First, I teach some important tips for beginners. Next, I explain and show how to do the basic hop-2-3 and teach beginners how to count the movements correctly. Following this is a “practice with me“ section where I dance the skip-2-3’s slow, medium, fast and then with music, all facing away from the camera so you can follow along. The practice sections that are set to music have count-ins on the screen to help you learn how to count in and start on time to the music. The video finishes with a demonstration of how to dance the skip-2-3’s in a circle (lead around) so you can put them at the beginning of your first dance you will learn, the Reel. If you want to learn the next part of your reel, check out our practice video 2, how to dance the sidestep (sevens). For how to do a basic leap-2-3, have a look at this video: Happy practicing!
