Farewell Symphony of Hornes: Departure of the Ship “Igor Stravinsky“ from Moscow

The end of river navigation 2023 is just around the corner, and fewer and fewer cruise ships remain on our waters. On September 26, 2023, the river cruise motor ship “Igor Stravinsky” left the capital of our Motherland, the hero city of Moscow, and honked its horn goodbye. He did not leave in English, leaving us only a couple of inconspicuous beeps as a farewell. No, he did everything in Russian, on a grand scale! He issued a whole series of loud and solemn beeps that echoed throughout the Khimki reservoir. The motor ship “Igor Stravinsky” left, but promised to return. We look forward to it next year so we can once again enjoy its comfort, gourmet cuisine and unforgettable views from its deck. See you again on board the ship “Igor Stravinsky”! May your sailing be safe and enjoyable! Shooting date: September 26, 2023. Location: Moscow, The Khimki Reservoir. m/s Igor Stravinsky aka Strawinski II Former Name: Mikhail Sholokhov Project: 302 Built in: 1985
