Assassin’s Creed Mirage Review - The Final Verdict

Mirage is exactly what it says on the tin- an old-school stealth game made for the current market. And while something like that wouldn’t have been to many people’s liking half a decade ago, right now, at a time where many games have gone larger and larger with each new instalment, it’s incredibly refreshing to play a smaller, more focused, more stealth-driven game that aligns so closely with the old games. No, mechanically and design-wise it doesn’t do anything that could be qualified as unique or innovative, but this is a rare case of a game where being single-mindedly focused on recreating past gameplay mechanics works out for the best.
