A sunday afternoon of October 1983, Nina Hagen was invited to the TV Show “CHAMPIONS“. Before singing “NEW YORK NY“ (from the album “Angstlos“), Nina was brought on stage by a special delivery man : Coluche. In France, Coluche has revolutionized humor. He was a free thinker and very provocative against politicians. In 1985, he launched the charity “Les Restos du Cœur“ (Restaurants of the Heart) to distribute food packages and hot meals to those in need. Few months later, he died in a moto crash. He’s still a cult figure in France.
