Brushify - Creating Photorealistic Trees For UE4

Find out more at With Unreal Engine 5 around the corner, I’ve been preparing to update the Brushify asset library with new reworked scanned assets. This video is a brief overview/behind the scenes of how I create complex Tree models for Brushify Packs using a combination of Photogrammetry, Procedural Generation and Hand placement. This workflow is a simple to execute, cost effective foliage pipeline that gives natural results. It’s very similar to the techniques used in many AAA game titles (open worlds like Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V, Last of Us, Far Cry series). This video serves as both an educational tool for all artists, as well as a useful way for me to document my own workflows when creating new assets for Brushify. It should serve as a good orientation/starting point for anyone wanting to understand the processes that go into creating foliage for games. Hardware: Camera Equipment: Body - Panasonic G80/G81/
