Deicide - Lunatic Of God’s Creation - Guitar Cover (+Tabs)

Back again with the opening track from Deicide’s breakthrough in the US death metal scene! This song was rather hard to tab out. The tremolo picking seemed to be in 16th notes but that sounded “to slow“. 32th notes on the other hand would have been way to fast. The answer? Sextuplets! If you listen very closely to the record and look at live footage, you can tell the Hoffman brothers are playing 6 notes per beat, at the crossroads between 4 and 8. In reality, they play 6 notes “on average”, as their playing is sometimes a little sloppy, but that’s what gives Deicide its chaotic, evil sound! As for the sound, I used Bias FX 2 and made a preset you can find in the ToneCloud under the name “Deicide – Deicide” This one is for you Blaise!
