Simple knife making with an old saw blade

Looking for a new knife? Something fun, different, and completely unique? That’s what we thought, so we went ahead and made one. Check out how easy it is to make one. Get your saw blade from the hardware store and follow these tutorial. I try to show all steps involved in this video to show you how to make a knife from an old saw blade. This is a great way to repurpose some old junk and make a useful tool for your household. You just need the blade of the saw, some sandpaper, grinding wheel and angle grinder to sharpen it. The large finger hole on the blade provides a secure grip for wonderful management whereas filleting fish, chopping vegetables and deboning meat. Note: This is the first knife I made and I didn’t heat treat it because it didn’t occur to me that it should.
