Zidane / Henry / Trezeguet Legendary Show (Germany vs France 2003)

Two goals from David Trezeguet helped France to a 3-0 victory over Germany in a Euro 2004 warm-up on Saturday. Thierry Henry showed the visitors the way to a record 13th win in a row by heading home a Bixente Lizarazu cross to open the scoring on 21 minut . The Arsenal forward then set up Trezeguet, who doubled the European champions’ advantage 10 minutes into the second half. The Juventus striker was on target again with eight minutes left, sealing France’s highest win over Germany since a 6-3 victory at the 1958 World Cup in Sweden with a low drive. France’s previous best run of 12 wins in a row was spearheaded by Michel Platini from February to December 1984. The current team, more than ever favourites to retain their European title in Portugal next year, have not lost or drawn since a 2-0 defeat by the Czech Republic in February at the Stade de France.
