I haven’t played this song in over two years at this point, but I love it. The main reason I haven’t played it in so long, is that the tab I used when I first did the song was really bad. I mean REAALLY bad. It was so bad, that I didn’t even show the tab on the screen. I had to figure out all the fancy stuff in the solo myself. I was real proud of myself for that. It was my first time ever doing that for something big. The only trouble was that I wasn’t able to fix the tab myself, so I had to memorize the part (looking at the tabs makes it easier to record and get the covers out consistently for you all). I mentioned in reply to a comment that the most I ever recorded a song was 48 times to get it recorded. This is that song. I eventually got the solo section down and nailed it in the recording. It sucked that because I didn’t have the tabs in the video, people weren’t watching it, so I took it down. I think my bass tone in it is really great though for the song. I also had to figure out the ending after the last chorus (the 2nd solo) for myself as well. Overall I’m still pretty proud of that video because it was a huge milestone for me, despite its performance and reception by viewers. I struggled a lot witht he 16th notes on my left hand with the 0-2-4-5-4, and the ending with my right hand using my fingers. It’s so cool to see my progress from then til now. I’m just happy that I’m finally doing the song justice with tabs. 2:21 Ian Hill plays it with a pick live. It’s what I expected, but I wanted to confirm since it didn’t sould like it used a pick Thanks for watching! Enjoy :) #JudasPriest #bass #basscover #tabs This music belongs to The original artists.
