The Majestic Congo Tetra - Phenacogrammus interruptus

Common Name : Congo Tetra Scientific Name : Phenacogrammus interruptus Family: Characidae Origin : Africa - Congo River Basin Size : 5 inches / 10 - 13 cm PH : 6.2 - 7.5 Temperature : 76-80 F Temperament : Very peaceful and an excellent community fish inhabitant. This is a larger growing tetra that requires some swimming space and plenty of plant cover. I’d recommend keeping them in a tank not shorter then 48 inches and a group of at least 6 or more. Males will develop beautiful coloration and finnage as they grow and mature.
