Full title reads: “Hendon. ’The Sky Their Stage’. Enormous crowds see and cheer . Pageant - ’greatest ever’ in history of aviation!“ Hendon, Greater London. Crowds in foreground watch group of large biplanes take off in formation. Camera follows planes as they fly over the tents of the display ground. Air to air shots of planes flying in formation above clouds. (scratched). Planes fly overhead. Three planes release smoke canisters as the loop the loop in formation. LS of plane looping the loop. Other planes fly across leaving smoke trails. Planes fly in V formation upside down. Planes fly at barrage balloon. MS of balloon flares go off as it has been hit by gunfire. Spectacular shots of the balloon as it bursts into flames and falls to the ground. MS of wing walkers holding onto biplane struts.
