Roy Jones v Otis Grant (1998)

Grant was the WBO middleweight champion. Jones earned $2 million and Grant got $450,000. There was a crowd of 3,500. Jones floored Grant once in the sixth round and once in the tenth. Grant’s trainer, Russ Anber, threw in the towel after the second knockdown. Jones landed 173 of 392 punches (44%) and Grant connected on 66 of 248 (27%) Grant only landed 1 jab out of 137. HBO judge Harold Lederman had Jones ahead 89-81 after nine rounds.
