The ship was launched shortly before the Doha World Cup in 2022, where she was initially used as a floating cruise ship hotel for attendees, before then launching officially as a cruise ship at the end of the year. Following completion of a Middle East season, the ship then relocated to the Mediterranean market in April 2023, where she is now completing 7-night Mediterranean itineraries. We sailed on the first full week cruise in the Mediterranean. This is the largest ship ever produced for MSC Cruises, and is also one of the largest cruise ships in the world.
