An Aerojet Rocketdyne RS-25 rocket engine was tested on the A-1 Test Stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, on 28 February 2019, at 21:00 UTC (15:00 CST, 16:00 EST). The 510-second test was conducted using the RS-25 developmental engine No. 0525. For the fourth time, NASA powered the engine to 113 percent of its original thrust design, this time for more than 430 seconds, about four times longer than any previous hot fire at that thrust level.
