Сухой травинкой, Запутавшейся в волосах ребенка, Сосновой веткой, горечью полынной, Или разлукой, в сердце погребенной? Овечьим сыром, кофе ароматом, Разлитым тонко в тоненькие чашки, Дагчаем, миндалем, душистой мятой, Сегодняшнюю явью, сном вчерашним? Иль жгучим криком чайки одинокой, Иль Чатыр-Дага высотою снежной, Старинной песни музыкой далекой? Нет, пахнет моя Родина надеждой. ☛In English⦿ What does the Motherland smell like? A dry blade of grass, entangled in a child’s hair, a pine branch, wormwood bitterness, or separation buried in the heart? Sheep cheese, coffee aroma, Poured thinly into thin cups, Dag, almonds, fragrant mint, Today’s reality, yesterday’s dream? Or the burning cry of a lonely seagull, Or the snowy heights of Chatyr-Dag, An ancient song and distant music?
