Sigma 16mm vs 30mm vs 56mm 1.4 - Field of View Comparison Test. A completely unscientific Field of View (FOV) comparison test with the 3x APSC Sigma Primes (16mm, 30mm & 56mm 1.4). A few people have been asking recently about the field of view with the 3 Sigma Prime lenses (16mm, 30mm & 56mm 1.4) - so thought I’d make this quick video (actually …these videos are never quick!) to compare all 3 lenses. It’s nothing too glamorous, in fact, it generally involves a tape measure, some dumbbells, a dog toy and Tia (who’s slightly more glamorous) - but if you’re stuck with knowing which of these lenses to purchase, hopefully it’ll help give a good idea of how they each perform, and how much you can fit in the frame at specified distances.
