Genocidal music: Charbu Darbu

Israeli rappers Nesia Levy and Dor Soroker’s latest track ‘Charbu Darbu’ is currently Israel’s number 1 song on: Youtube, Spotify and other streaming platforms. Charbu Darbu comes from the Arabic language and can be translated as ’swords and strikes’ or ’war and strikes’ depending on the dialect. But In Hebrew slang, this term refers to ‘raining hell’ on Israel’s opponents.
