Valhalla Viking Festival 2022 - Basingstoke

Valhalla 2022 ✊ Met some amazing people over the long weekend some i already call family and some became family !! Everyone made this what it was from the stall holders, firewalkers, re-enactments and the security provided by vikings mc biker group Brilliantly set up and so much to do from fire walking, arrow breaking, axe-throwing, archery, Viking games, mead hall, war paints, the amazing sigil tattoos, blacksmiths, combat training, everyone that gave demos on old ways of doing things, birds of prey, live history villages And to all the bands that played all weekend, truly some amazing sounds!! As the sun went down the horns raised high as roars of skål erupted across the fields, the tress lit with magical lights as people honoured the gods with rituals and sacrifices The beautiful fires burned all night and when the amazing story tellers came to life our hearts filled with adrenaline and blood filled story’s as the mead slowly but surly reached the bottom Truly left a part of me there, see you all next year it’s been awesome 💙 skål
