This behind-the-scenes video captures a moment in the installation of the exhibition “Envisioning 2001: Stanley Kubrick’s Space Odyssey“ at Museum of the Moving Image in early January 2020. Seen in the video are Dan Richter, the actor who performed Moonwatcher; Jannette Reichel, Collections Manager; Barbara Miller, Director of Curatorial Affairs; Tim Heptner, Exhibition Manager from Deutsches Filmmuseum and Filminstitut (DFF), the lending institution; and other Museum staff.
