“A Christmassy Smash & Grab“ Aka Smash And Grab (1932)

Full title reads: “London. ’A Christmassy Smash & Grab“ Middlesex Hospital students raid and kidnap Father Xmas to cheer little patients.“ London. Medical students - dressed in white surgical gowns - ride on top of a van. They leap off and run into a London shop. The come out quickly with a man dressed as Father Christmas (or Santa Claus if you prefer) and force him into their transport. They ride back through the streets - some of them sitting on the roof of the lorry. The arrive at the entrance of the Middlesex Hospital and assist Santa in getting out of the back of the lorry. Santa gives a young child in a cot a present - several of the students (wearing surgical masks) look on. C/U child in cot with present. Santa gives away more gifts.
