C/U of one of the dogs eating. M/S of a bloodhound looking out over a stable door. M/S of Lillian and George with one of the bloodhounds on a lead in a field. George runs off over the field, stopping to put his scarf down on the ground some distance away. Lillian and the dog follow; the dog stops to sniff the scarf and Lillian holds it before his nose. We hear that in this test, George has told Lillian the route he will take so that she can judge how well the dog is following his scent.
