Heavy week at St. Petersburg airport. Wamos, Corsair, Rossiya Boeing 747-400’s landings.

During the very first week of May, 2017, our airport “Pulkovo“ was full of heavy airplanes. From extremely rare B747’s that have never been here before to regular airlines which decided to send heavies instead of common members of A320 family. The first (also probably the last) visit of Wamos and Corsair B744’s, double landing of Rossiya B744’s at intervals of 15 minutes, the second ever visit of gorgeous Air Astana B763 with winglets in excessive haze, rare and beautiful A333 of I-Fly, A332 of Turkish Airlines which was sent instead of regular A320 and a 777-200LR of Emirates, which is quite rare guest here too. What an adventure - to spend the whole week standing next to the airfield fence capturing one rare plane after another.
