About this track and video, Eugene S Robinson says; “One of my favorite songs on the record and maybe one of the oldest it was a total joy to have John Levy capture on video what used to be Friday for me. When this was being filmed initially I was going under the knife…which is to say I’d have been happy to have this be my last will and testament if, heaven forbid, I’d have not pulled through surgery.” Niko Wenner adds, “A Pacific seaside motel I’d always wanted to visit, and a creepy af brutalist amphitheater in the woods that gave me the shivers when I first chanced on it. Scenes for what may have been a wild, hazy, lost weekend. Director John Levy has crafted a dreamy noir-mare of moods you too may recognise as hidden somewhere deep in your memory. Gathering the props for this one was particularly fun. Wenner continues, “My circa 2002 song demo is simply classical guitar and voice, our band recording on Love’s Holiday made with Joe Chiccarelli adds orchestrated sections of a fortified Pierrot ensemble including old friend Kyle Bruckmann on oboe. Enjoy!“
