Millwall V Birmingham (1957)

New Cross, London. Start of the FA (Football Association) Cup 5th round football match between Birmingham City and Millwall. GV. Millwall kick off. David Pacey runs forward with ball but loses it to Eddie Brown. Peter Murphy slips the ball to Noel Kinsey who slips it back to Murphy. He edges onto Brown and Brown starts to run up-field. Birmingham attacks. GV. Massed crowd. LV. Alex Govan throws the ball to team mate who puts it back to him. Govan brings it under control but he is worried by Veitch. He beats him, makes down the left wing and centres. Kinsey heads the ball into net. Birmingham 1- Millwall 0. GV. Crowd. LV. Hazlett crosses the ball into Birmingham goal area where Gill Merrick jumps and grabs it although harassed by a Millwall forward. He turns and clears it up-field where it goes out to the right wing. Birmingham attacking. LV. Lloyd waiting in his goal. SV. Murphy with the ball, slips it out to the left wing. SV. Govan collects and crosses it into the Millwall goal area where Brown makes a
