Elite Dangerous Odyssey - Beauty in the Stars (4K)

Join me on my adventure through our galaxy. Elite Dangerous has more than a trillion worlds to explore. No other game puts God’s amazing creation on full display. I’ve been playing Elite Dangerous since it’s original release in 1984. In 2018 I returned to ED and have spent most of my time out in the Black since then. There are many breathtaking views, both in space, and on the surface. Being able to walk around, drive in my SRV, and fly/land all over plants with and without atmosphere, it’s just all amazing. Improvements are made regularly. As an explorer, I found Odyssey difficult to get used to since it doesn’t have the huge canyons and mountains Horizons had, but it offers other unique features that Horizons did not have. The tallest mountain I found in my 120,000 ly journey over the last few months was 12km tall. That’s a tall mountain, but Everest and the cliffs on Mars are far bigger. I hope Frontier Developments does something to bring back the big landscape formations. That said, Odyssey is beautiful. If you get the right planet, right atmosphere, the right lighting, and the right location, you can end up with some breathtaking views. Exploration is plain fun and exciting. I created this video to highlight some of the places I’ve discovered as my 1st video for this new channel that will showcase the good things Odyssey brings to Elite Dangerous.
