Jhariah - RISK, RISK, RISK! (Official Music Video)

Official video for “RISK, RISK, RISK!”, the first single from Jhariah’s upcoming second full-length record: It’s finally here!! I’ve been thinking about this day for such a long such, I can hardly believe the song is really out! I started writing RISK in early 2021, while I was finishing Beginner’s Guide. At that point, I was already pretty deep into writing this next album, but I knew almost instantly that I wanted thos song to be how I introduced this new record to the world. It feels like the perfect encapsulation of this new era for me. At its core, this song and this album are about overcoming fear. The bigger I dream, the more I’ve found fear to be a luxury that I can’t afford. There’s just so much I want to do and so many challenges to surmount in the process! That hardly leaves room for me to be an obstacle to myself. Once I started trying to articulate that feeling, I realized that it was quintessential to this new chapter in my life and in my career. A lot of this album is about trust, so this was kind of my moment to write about trusting myself. I hope you like it! There’s so much of myself in this song and I’m SO proud of it!!! I hope it spurs you to tackle something that scares you or take on a challenge that seems daunting. Oh and come out to a show on this upcoming tour and see it live! OK, that’s it!
