Terraria // Pre-Mech Duke Fishron Guide // Expert Mode Early Hardmode

Hey everyone! In this video, I’ll be showing ways to defeat Duke Fishron before you even touch the Mechanical Bosses! This video will showcase many different ways in which this is able to be done. This video will mainly go over the techniques and strategies, rather than the accessory and weapon setup, although I have included my recommended gear below. Note: This, by no stretch of the imagination, is easy. If you are an inexperienced player, you may find this extremely difficult and time consuming, and you have every right to. This particular fight isn’t designed for this time in the game. The game wants you to be fighting the Duke after Golem, usually. The setups are fairly simple. They’re just the good weapons and accessories before the mechanical bosses. However, I value mobility over damage, hence why I have so many jumping and dashing accessories instead of damage emblems. Note that all these accessories and weapons can be obtained before defeating a single mechanical boss. Anyway, please leave your feedback in the comments below! I’d love to hear what you think about this video. My personal ranking of the classes in difficulty goes like this: // Easiest to Hardest // Ranged Magic Melee Summoner The reasoning for this order is that with Ranged, you don’t need to focus on Mana Usage, or re-buffing. Additionally, with the sheer damage output of the Daedalus Stormbow, the fight becomes a breeze. With Melee, most weapons won’t be ranged, so you’ll have to stay a lot closer, which increases the chances of getting hit, unless you have a Shadowflame Knife, which makes it a lot easier. And for Summoner, the sheer length of the fight is what makes it hard. Duke Fishron isn’t designed to be a lengthy fight, so his attacks aren’t easy to dodge at all, especially over a 10 minute fight. Here’s part 2. It includes the Summoner and Melee fights. // Recommended Weapons // = Melee Set = Shadowflame Knife Hel-Fire/Amarok Ice Sickle Bladetongue (Status) Dao of Pow (Piercing) = Ranged Set = Daedalus Stormbow Dart Pistol/Rifle Onyx Blaster Ice Bow Uzi Titanium/Adamantite Repeater = Magic Set = Crystal Serpent Sky Fracture Meteor Staff Frost Staff Golden Shower (Status and Piercing) Demon Scythe (Piercing) = Summoner Set = Spider Staff Imp Staff (Final Stage and Piercing) Queen Spider Staff // Potions // Greater Potion of Healing Flask of Ichor/Cursed Flames Swiftness Potion Well Fed Food (eg.
