Mark Hummel - ’Summertime’ - Blues Harp Blowout - February 6, 2009

I shot this video of harmonica great, Mark Hummel with his incredible rendition of ’Summertime’, last February during the Blues Harp Blowout at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Mark has both produced and participated in this great series since 1991. The lineup changes from time to time, and, on this particular evening, in addition to Mr. Hummel, we were treated to incredible performances by the legendary John Mayall, Lee Oskar, Curtis Salgado and Charlie Musselwhite. WHAT a great night. You MUST see this show if the opportunity presents itself. The supporting band, anchored by the great guitarist, Rusty Zinn, is simply AWESOME!!!
