The doomsday storm has hit Bulgaria! People shocked by thunderstorm in Sofia!

On the evening of September 27, a severe thunderstorm broke out over the capital of Bulgaria. Shortly before 18:00, the sky turned black due to bad weather and a downpour hit Sofia. In some areas, the rain was accompanied by hail. Wind gusts reached speeds of 70 km/h. In some places the streets are flooded, the water level in them reaches 20 cm. Unfortunately, there are casualties. Three people died, one person is in a very serious condition after being struck by lightning. The dead are citizens of Syria - three of them are from 20 to 30 years old. Lightning struck in the park near the church “Saint Nicholas“. The incident was reported at 18:15, three ambulances arrived at the scene. Sofia is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. The city is in 13th place in terms of the number of inhabitants in the European Union. The population is 1,380,000 people.
