Testing Metro Exodus Raytracing - 6900XT - Linux

AMD just released a new version of its proprietary Linux Vulkan driver with the standard Vulkan Raytracing extensions included. It’s the first time we have support for Real-Time Ray Tracing on AMD hardware on Linux, I wanted to run a quick test. This time, it’s with Metro Exodus. Pleasantly surprised as things went without a hitch this time again. RTX was available in the graphics options and besides the game own problems with lenghtly shader compilation, the Raytracing looked solid and unwavering. Let’s say we’ll just nod to it actually working bug-free and crash free. Performance isn’t exactly the top spot of AMD’s RT implementations atm, but that was well within expectations.
