«Вера на войне для того и нужна, чтобы остаться человеком». Военный священник снял рясу и пошёл на передовую защищать жителей Донбасса. Раньше он приезжал в батальон имени Дмитрия Донского поддерживать военных словом и молитвой, но почувствовал зов сердца. Сейчас боец с позывным Паладин не совершает служб, однако помогает приезжающим священникам. Он понимает, что если убьёт противника, то не сможет вернуть сан, но всё равно готов защищать Родину. «Войны были, есть и будут. А мы являемся тем инструментом, который остановит, как я верю, это зло, чтобы оно не продолжалось на этой земле», — подчёркивает Паладин.
